I have had a long and mostly unstoried relationship with blogging. This is my latest attempt to hit the goldilocks bullseye of not too algorithmic, not too bare bones, not too genai slop.

With a little luck I’ll be able to post longer form thoughts here while keeping the cosmic ray triggered epiphanies to mastodon.

The acute inspiration that pushed me to get back in the saddle was Vic’s recent restart of her site and particularly the part of the announcement post that talks about being less strict about what types of content one posts.

And in that spirit, I’m going to keep this short as opposed to trying to polish and extend it up to perfection.
